Shterna and I have lived in Brighton since 2004, and are proud to consider it home!

Together with our 6 children, we are privileged to service the Jewish student and young adult demographic in the city, as well as along the SE Coast, from Canterbury to Southampton.

Our weekly grind includes family time with our kids, informal classes on campus at Sussex, Kent and Southampton, social events, Shabbat dinners for the student community, meeting students for coffee or a pint, one-to-one study (including 2 weekly sessions on Skype, which earned me the Jewish Chronicle’s Official ‘Skype Rabbi’ title), a huge pile of admin work, and keeping in touch with alumni and attending their weddings and Simchas (not every week…).

In my spare time I update my blog at www.chabadsussex.org/blog. (As you’ll understand, it’s not updated very often, though I do try to get an update as frequently as I can).

We’re always happy to welcome new students and young adults to our programmes.
